Cultural Activities

The students have intense interest on cultural activities. Cultural programmes are organized throughout the year. Umpteen numbers of cultural events such as debate, essay writing, Monoacting, Monodrama, mimicry, Fancy dress, Pick and speak, singing of patriotic songs. Devotional songs, film songs, community songs, Folk songs and a host of other event are held. A cultural committee has been constituted every year for conducting cultural programmes. The committee encourages the students to participate actively in cultural activities. Some students are self-motivated and highly competitive. They are willing to take part in cultural activities voluntarily. The committee begins with inauguration of cultural events.

At the end of the academic year cultural competitions will be held for two days in which all the students can compete joyfully. The winners in various events would be given appropriate prizes in valedictory function to be held almost at the close of the year. Parents would be invited to have glimpses of closing ceremony. The occasion looks like a cultural festival. In between some culturally talented students have been selected in the beginning of the year and make them to participate in inter-collegiate cultural competitions. This is going on throughout the year. Some students have own prizes and medals, while others have brought rolling shield. Through this the students have brought the honor to the college. They have spread the name and fame of the college far and wide. The college has cultural inputs which are being harnessed and this in turn will augment the quality of education. The students are also excelling culturally.
